Teaching In China

Hello Everyone,
If you have come to this page then must be at least slightly interested in my exploration and experiences in China. This opportunity has been provided to me, and my fellow participants by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, if you are interested in learning more please do not hesitate to look at some of the amazing work this organization is doing. I am participating in the NCUSCR's Teacher Exchange Program which has been sending K-12 educators to china since 1996. Please enjoy my PG-13 Chinese exploits.

Around Luoyang

Ninmen Hao
My Dinner Tonight (not really sure what's in the center bowl)

So I wondered the streets of Luoyang this weekend, I found an amazing public park near my school.  Here are some photos:
And take a look (and listen) at this:

So I finished my two busy days this week, this school is a whole different world. I taught 6 classes today (the same lesson) and it didn't matter whether it was the first period of the day, right before or after lunch, or the last period (@ 5:05) these students were attentive and energetic.  Phenomenal day.  More to come later.

  1. Are you saying that all of your students last year weren't attentive and energetic regardless of the period or time of day? That's BS, I call your bluff. By the way, do you remember fuckin' Steve? It has changed to fuckin' Ben. I've got stories, I'll hit you up. Advice #1 - Watch the doorways, keep your head down.
